For the Into the Deep season, the Robodogs introduced Joker, a fully custom robot designed to reflect our team's creativity, engineering skills, and competitive spirit.
Joker features two pairs of lightning-fast viper slides powered by REV UltraPlanetary motors (12:1), a custom 3D-printed arm and gripper for precision scoring, and a 3D-printed intake driven by dual high-speed servos. Built on a unique wooden chassis and styled in bold purple and green Joker colors, the robot performs as well as it looks.
This robot helped us earn Winning Alliance 1st Team Selected at the Tesla League Championship and the Design Award at the 2025 South Texas Regional Championship.
